OLDSMAR, FL (October 7, 2024) – MarineMax Yachts proudly announced the sale of a 2025 Horizon FD110 Tri-deck yacht by Michael Tyrrell of MarineMax Yacht Center. This impressive vessel features an on-deck owner's suite, a spacious five-stateroom layout, a large family galley, a luxurious beach club, a sky lounge, and a hot tub, making it the perfect choice for family adventures on the water.
The journey to this sale began in 2017 when Michael first met Larry and Linda while they were enjoying their 68-foot yacht at MarineMax Pier 66 Marina. Over the years, the relationship blossomed, leading to the sale of a 100-foot Ocean Alexander, which the couple cherished for three years. After deciding to sell their yacht in late 2022 due to health concerns, the couple experienced mixed emotions as they bid farewell to their beloved vessel. In 2023, Linda expressed a desire to re-enter the world of yachting. After extensive research and viewings of numerous yachts, they found their ideal match in the Horizon FD110 Tri-deck. "While it was tough for Linda to move on from the Ocean Alexander brand, this yacht perfectly met their needs," said Michael Tyrrell.
The family plans to use their new yacht to revisit the breathtaking Bahamas and explore the northeast next summer. They also hope to venture to the southern Caribbean and U.S. Virgin Islands next winter.
