OLDSMAR, FL (October 1, 2026)— MarineMax Yachts is proud to announce the sale of a brand-new 2026 Ocean Alexander 30R, Hull 10, a milestone achieved through close collaboration among our Vice Presidents of Yachts, Mike Doyle, Jame Corts, and Scott Roberton.
Designed by Evan K. Marshall, the 30R is a true statement of performance and style. Powered by twin MAN V-12 engines delivering 2,000 horsepower, this five-stateroom yacht features an expansive skylounge that brings together sweeping views and comfortable, social living spaces.
Mike worked with the buyer, a longtime yachtsman, when he first reached out online with an interest in the 30R. He is upgrading from his 78' Princess, and the 30R's design, build quality, and performance made it the natural next step. Plans for the yacht include personal cruising in the Miami area and summers in the Hamptons.
The sale also reflects the strength of the broker community. The buyer worked with Ale Navarro of FGI Yachts, who brought in James Corts as a referral partner, and purchased the yacht new directly from MarineMax. Both Ale and the buyer's captain had worked with MarineMax in the past, and the combination of Ocean Alexander's reputation for quality and the depth of the MarineMax team made this the right fit.
Other noteworthy sales from the previous month were Charles Helgeson’s 2023 Horizon FD80 and David Michie’s 2022 Azimut Grande 25 Meter, both out of MarineMax Fort Myers; Mike Doyle’s 2022 Azimut S7 and Andrew Schneider’s 2019 Azimut 77S, both out of MarineMax Yacht Center.
