Thailand

Known as the Land of Smiles, exotic adventures found in Thailand will have you grinning long after you leave. The mystic beauty, zesty flavors, exciting colors, and awe-inspiring sights will have you entranced the moment you set foot ashore. From immense temples to picturesque beaches, from authentic local markets to the natural wildlife, there is a variety of activities at every turn. Fly in to Bangkok or Phuket, and make your way to the yacht, your own personal floating resort. Discover the ancient beauty of Thailand in Phang Nga Bay, where you will see limestone islands towering to the heavens. Swim, snorkel, or dive through the archways of these statuesque natural wonders. Explore the quiet coves and the protected lagoons that are carved out of the islands. With more than 120 uninhabited islands in Phang Nga Bay, you are sure to find your inner peace. At Ko Rok Nok, visit with the local monitor lizards, meet local sea gypsies in a village on stilts, and enjoy lunch where the restaurants simply walk outside and drop a line in the water for the catch of the day. Be cautious, as the spicy options are truly full of flavor! The phrase “kor mai phet” (Not too spicy, please) may come in handy. From lush beaches, never ending horizons, masterful cooking, and the beauty of nature, the memories from a yacht charter in Thailand will always have you smiling.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Phuket to Phang Nga Bay

Your yacht charter will arrive in one of the main marinas on the east coast of Phuket, possibly Ao Po Grand Marina which welcomes larger yachts. Entering Phang Nga Bay, you will be amazed by the immensely towering islands protruding from the water. Dive right in, or relax aboard at this peaceful destination.

Day 2 - Phan Nga Bay

Get an early start for “James Bond Island”, Ko Tapu, to discover the set where 007 faced The Man With The Golden Gun. Hop over to Koh Pan Yi to explore the village built on stilts. Delight in a Thai lunch of mee krob (fried noodles with sweet sauce) or goong sou-sa (giant prawns in a pepper sauce).

Day 3 - Phang Nga Bay to Krabi

Grab a paddleboard to explore a hong, a hollow, expansive island. The incredible Emerald Cave near Krabi, exudes green ambient lighting trickling in from the opening overhead accentuating the pristine white sand beach within. Relax ashore at the Railay beach or hit the town at Ao Nang Bay.

Day 4 - Krabi to Ko Lanta Yai

Soak in the exquisite beauty at Ko Lanta, a national park distant enough from the bustle of the town where you can enjoy serene beaches and the nature of Thailand. Visit the nearby Ko Rok Nok to experience vibrant and colorful reefs abounding with teems of fish.

Day 5 - Ko Lanta Yai to Phi Phi Islands

Vertical cliffs rocketing skyward are encompassed in breathtaking beaches, the most popular of which is Maya beach, as seen in the Leonardo DiCaprio flick The Beach. As the sun begins to set, enjoy the fire show at Carlito’s Beach Bar on Phi Phi Don.

Day 6 - Phi Phi Islands to Ko Racha

At these two islands, Yai and Noi, soak in the sun or snorkel in the crystal-clear waters above the knots of coral. Take a horseback ride through the coconut groves and spot the water buffalo grazing amongst the trees. Take advantage of these calm waters by pulling out all the water toys or jump on the back of a jet ski. In the evening, experience top-of-the-line dining at Racha Resort.

Day 7 - Ko Racha to Phuket

Before leaving these exotic islands, head to Khai Nok to feed the fish that will tickle your toes or explore the smaller islands that dot the waters around Phuket.
