Summary

The desire for balance between the elegance of the external lines and the need to build structures suitable for extending total comfort to the owner and his guests, has produced the Azimut 50. This yacht offers both the harmony of contemporary lines, in keeping with the Azimut family-focused designs, as well as the the most highly advanced technological solutions.
Revolutionary construction methods. The internal bulkheads are installed when the boat is still in shell-form, a solution that makes it possible to maximize on every centimeter of the hull. The squared bow not only allows more internal volume, but also protects the deck and sun-pad from sea-spray while cruising. Search MarineMax inventory for an Azimut 50 Flybridge near you!

Style

  • The utmost in liveability for the exterior spaces. Exterior design by Stefano Righini and inspired by the world of megayachts. A single surface for the mirrored deck-house window, and similar detailing on the fly; with a spacious cockpit, its more than 17 m² make it among the largest boats in its class.
Maximum attention to the bow spaces. Vertical windows in the hull: a must.

Comfort

  • The large interior accommodates three cabins. The Owner's cabin is amidships at full beam. The VIP cabin is to the bow, as is the third cabin for guests with two pullman beds. Saloon with dining area and dedicated relaxation area. Separate, independent galley below deck in the lobby area that also leads to the cabins.

Power

  • Two Volvo Penta 670 HP engines. Shaft-mounted transmission for maximum speed of 30 knots and cruising speed of 26-27 knots. Launch scheduled for June 2014.

Design

  • Designed by Carlo Galeazzi, the interiors include a saloon, dining area with relaxation area, below deck galley, and lobby leading to the cabins. The boatowners cabin is amidships at full beam and the VIP cabin is towards the bow. Thanks to the sizeable interiors, space has also been found for a third cabin with two pullman beds.

Concept

  • The designers were tasked with designing a 50-foot vessel reminiscent of the Azimut 80, the model which has proved to be incredibly popular on the international market this season, thereby forging a new stylistic cohesiveness within the Azimut Yachts Flybridge collection. Designed by Stefano Righini, the exteriors pick up on concepts found in the Azimut 80. Some of the eye-catching features include the single mirrored glass window on the deckhouse with similar detailing on the fly, the decidedly impressive size of the bow area, and the classic vertical windows on the hull. The exterior spaces are given priority including a sizeable cockpit and enormous flybridge with its 17.5 m2 that definitely make it one of the largest in the category.
